THE LEAS
The Leas is is located between Folkestone West and Folkestone town centre and is a beau ful example of Folkestone’s seaside appeal.
Park your car next to The Grand and walk towards the town centre, enjoying the oral displays on
your way. There are plenty of benches to pause your journey and picnicking, kite ying, kicking a football around and general fun and tomfoolery and posi vely encouraged!
BEST BEACHES
There are two main beaches in Folkestone, both are south-facing with facili es on hand should you need them.
The rst is called Sunny Sands and as its name suggests is a sandy beach (a rarity this close to London).
The second is located
at the bo om of the Zig Zag path and is a quieter pebble beach frequented mostly by the locals.

Folkestone Triennial is
the agship project of the Crea ve Founda on, an independent visionary arts charity dedicated to enabling the regenera on of the seaside town of Folkestone, in Kent, through crea ve ac vity.
Working with the people
of Folkestone, partners
