JAM on the Marsh 2016 Thursday 7th - Sunday 17th July
JAM on the Marsh is an annual multi-art festival built around Kent’s magnificent Romney Marsh and its famous medieval churches. Each year JAM on the Marsh crosses the Romney Marsh from Dungeness to Hythe and Lympne to New Romney. The Marsh churches are true beacons of culture and history; they are the heart of the festival.

Sandgate Sea & Food Festival A fun weekend for all the familySaturday August 27th & Bank Holiday Sunday – 28th August, 2016, 11am – 5 pm
The Sandgate Sea and Food Fes val will once again provide residents and visitors alike with their August Bank holiday entertainment. The event kicks off on the Saturday evening with a spectacular firework display sponsored by the Roger De Haan Charitable Trust together with the formal ligh ng of our beacon with Sandgate’s 95th Ri es in a endance.
The beautiful and historic surroundings of Deal, Sandwich and Dover within England’s south coast are the backdrop to an annual Festival that celebrates great classical and contemporary music from some of the world’s finest music- makers, as well as literature, theatre, opera, cinema, dance and the visual arts.
KENT COUNTY SHOW
The 2016 Show will be held on Friday 8, Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 July and has something for the whole family. Open from 8am to 6pm every day, the Show is a wonderful day out with plenty of displays, entertainment and local food. With over 400 exhibitors and trade stands and over 300 competitions, activities and displays. For those who have never attended the Show before, the Kent County Show is a showcase event for farming, countryside and rural life.
