CORNILORDA RIDING FOR THE DISABLED
Riding for the Disabled was founded in 1969.
The aim is to provide therapy, achievement and enjoyment to people with disabili es all over the UK. A network of 500 volunteer groups organise ac vi es for to up to 28,000 people each year.
Cornilo RDA is an independent charity and a member of The Riding for the Disabled Association and is run entirely by volunteers and funded by donations
We provide horse riding opportuni es for children and adults with various forms of learning disabili es as well as physical disabili es, with the expert guidance of our volunteers and quali ed instructors.
All our riders are given individual tailored tui on and through the experience of riding on a horse their con dence and self esteem develop. The interac on with coaches and other riders provides an opportunity for building on social and communica on skills as well as making new friends.
